Job Description

We are looking for nurses for the Maternity/Gynecology department who want to work in an exciting environment where development and continuous improvements take place with the family in focus.

On the gynecology side, patients are cared for in gynecological inpatient care. You will also receive emergency cases at our gynecological emergency clinic during evenings and weekends. Rotation to our gynecological outpatient clinic may be relevant.

As a nurse in the Maternity department, you will work with the family at the center and support the couple in their parenthood. Breastfeeding support is an important part of the work, and we have an active breastfeeding group that works with continuous improvements and educational initiatives. This also includes postoperative care of patients who have undergone elective cesarean sections.

During your working hours with us, education and opportunities for development work are included. We provide individualized orientation and all new employees receive a mentor.

Work Group

You will be part of a work team together with other nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, and doctors where we support each other and have a good work climate. We are a quality-conscious, ISO-certified clinic and we have a learning and permissive atmosphere.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We are looking for both newly graduated and experienced individuals. It is an advantage if you have experience working in women’s health care.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are stable, structured, and self-driven. You easily adapt to different situations and have a very good ability to collaborate and enjoy working in a team for the best of the patient. We expect you to have a positive, empathetic, and professional approach in your work, where patient care is the focus. Great importance is placed on personal qualities.
